Made up of nearly 20, it presents astonishing pieces, such as a clock lamp signed by the famous London manufacturer  Asprey , or a rare malachite clock with calendar and phases of the Moon made by  Tiffany & Co.

This collection celebrates all the greatness of an art of living which had its heyday from New York to Paris via London. Bringing together more than 80 watch objects signed  Jaeger LeCoultre ,  Hermès  and  Cartier , this sale will be an opportunity to acquire vintage clocks that we too rarely see reappear on the market.

This collection assembled by a passionate amateur is the result of several years of work and research on the different models of desk clocks that can be found in the vintage sector.

The collection brings together different models and different shapes, from the stirrup-shaped clock to the little-known spur-shaped one, we always find prestigious signatures such as those of the house of Hermès or Jaeger LeCoultre.

The Jaeger LeCoultre manufacture indeed represents the heart of this collection with several models and extremely rare variants such as models decorated with chinoiseries or others on themes of the famous “Atmos” clock. We will also remember a series of terrestrial globes which are objects sought after by all the great collectors, a globe accompanied on the basis of the indication of the hours and minutes on two rotating discs.

While technique is important for certain models equipped with the 8-day power reserve movement, the fact remains that aesthetics take precedence over the whole, a rare opportunity to discover a unique collection of its kind. All these pieces are truly a discovery and will be an opportunity for collectors to discover a one-of-a-kind private collection, which is both watchmaking but also a page of design with a wide spectrum ranging from the 1920s to the 80 years.
