AMILCAR USA MAGAZINE presents former real-life 80’s rocker Todd Tucker who writes, directs, and stars in the new film ROCKBOTTOM which also stars Tom Everett Scott (Star of Tom Hank’s “That Thing You Do”) and Jon Bon Jovi’s son Jake Bongiovi who makes his film debut as he carries the legacy of Rock Royalty.
The trailer just launched few days ago. The film is a rollicking family comedy that chronicles the hilarious misadventures of a failed 80’s hair metal band as they attempt to reunite in the present day for one last electrifying performance.
Directed by Todd Tucker, who also stars as the band’s drummer, this film promises to be a wild ride filled with nostalgia, laughter, and a killer rock soundtrack that will have audiences tapping their feet and banging their heads. To round out the cast, ROCKBOTTOM also features:
- Mckaley Miller: Recognized from CW’s “Hart of Dixie” and FOX’s “Scream Queens.”
- Toshi Yanagi: As the guitarist for Jimmy Kimmel Live’s house band, Toshi stars as ROCKBOTTOMS guitarist & adds authentic rock to the film’s soundtrack.

ROCKBOTTOM is set to hit Prime Video this week March 28th.
A mention of 1980’s hair metal band Cougarsnake by Billboard-charting, Gen-Z music star Bryce Cooper, creates a frenzy to find the band members and reunite them as opening act for Cooper’s forthcoming charity concert. High schoolers Alex and Kat join forces to get the band back together, but when the lead singer is hospitalized a reluctant replacement must overcome stage fright to save the show.
