Dior Fall 2024 Show in New York
The Fall 2024 show attracted an exceptional assortment of special guests – from Dior ambassadors Anya Taylor-Joy, Alexandra Daddario, HAERIN, Rachel Zegler and Rosamund Pike to friends of the House including Anna Diop, Diane Kruger and Mickalene Thomas. As part of the Brooklyn Museum in New York, some of them shared their thoughts on Maria Grazia Chiuri’s new collection.
Throughout the parades, Fall constitutes a particular time of reflection, a long-term questioning, constantly renewed. This Dior line is an opportunity to pay homage to Paris and New York, a captivating dialogue between the two fashion capitals – highlighted in the autobiography of Christian Dior – that Maria Grazia Chiuri highlights with essential prints .
The bridge between these cultures is Marlène Dietrich, a charismatic and contrarian actress, attached to Dior in the city as well as on the screen. The Artistic Director took inspiration from this to build a collection combining the Dior style with the iconic presence of the diva and her boyish allure .
Sublimating the silhouettes of the show (staged in the emblematic Brooklyn Museum ), the jackets are accompanied by wide pants with pleats or a pencil skirt stopping below the knee. The precious and sometimes very light dresses reveal lingerie, an essential element of the outfit, while the embroidery evokes the fetish codes dear to the founding designer: the star, the clover or the bee. A prodigious field of possibilities.

THE UNIQUE DIOR SIGNATURE
On the occasion of the Dior Fall 2024 fashion show, presented at the Brooklyn Museum in New York, the House unveils a series of unique virtual experiences celebrating the captivating inspirations of this collection. Reflecting the passionate ties that unite the American metropolis with Paris, a first filter – available on Instagram – offers the possibility of diving into the heart of one of the emblematic motifs of this Dior line imagined by Maria Grazia Chiuri, while another allows – exclusively on Snapchat – to dress the sky with these fascinating sketches. Final surprise, a third animation, specially designed for the guests of the show, brings to life the invitation created for this unique event. An ode to dreams and the art of wonder so dear to Dior.
