The Fisker Rōnin will feature an integrated battery with an expected range of 600 miles. This Super GT convertible is expected to produce over 1,000 horsepower. It will seat five and function as a sports sedan when the folding hardtop is raised. Only 999 vehicles will be built, at a price of $385,000 each. Fisker plans to launch production in the second half of 2025.
U.S.-based Fisker Inc, driven by the mission to create the world’s most emotional and sustainable electric vehicles, today released additional details on its Fisker Rōnin Super GT, an all-electric convertible that was unveiled at the company’s first-ever Product Vision Day on August 3, 2023.
“The Fisker Rōnin is for people who love to drive, but are also enthusiastic about automotive art and design, and demand that their high-performance vehicles embrace a sustainable future. Our goal was to create a classic grand tourer, updated for the 21st century and designed for customers who want to go from Los Angeles to Napa Valley on a single charge or take the autobahn at consistently high speeds without worrying about battery capacity.” said President and CEO Henrik Fisker.
Fisker has opened reservations for Rōnin
A tribute to John Frankenheimer’s famous film of the same name, which features epic car chase scenes – Since August 3; Early customers could pay a $2,000 deposit for the first reservation and a fully refundable $1,000 for the second. The vehicle will be priced at $385,000, with deliveries scheduled to begin in the second half of 2025. Fisker will produce only 999 vehicles.
Fisker’s aim with the Rōnin is to bring exceptional utility to the top end of the market, where many big-name performance manufacturers have launched SUVs. In response to this trend, Fisker has designed Rōnin to accommodate five people while taking advantage of the configuration of an electric vehicle to offer exceptional cargo capacity, a true rarity in the world of supercars.
Performance: With a 0 to 100 km/h time of around two seconds and a top speed of 275 km/h, Rōnin will be able to match or surpass any supercar currently on the market, while offering considerable range.
The emphasis will be on driver enjoyment rather than autonomous technologies, although these will be available when needed.
Car body : Rear gullwing doors facilitate access to the rear seats. Only one door handle will be needed, as the front doors open electrically by sliding the handle or using a smartphone; the handle then deploys when the rear doors are ready to open. All doors can be opened remotely using a smartphone, and the folding carbon-fiber hardtop will also be smartphone-activated and retract automatically into the trunk, leaving some space for luggage; additional luggage space will be available in the front trunk.
Features : The Fisker Rōnin will feature a unique aluminum space frame with integrated battery cells to achieve the targeted range of 600 miles (965 Km). Lightweight materials will also feature in the 23-inch carbon-fiber wheels. The interior will set new standards in sustainable luxury and use innovative recycled and sustainable materials, with the aim of making the Rōnin the world’s most sustainable supercar.
The Fisker Rōnin will also feature a 17.1-inch high-resolution display and an instrument cluster positioned in front of the driver.
